And remember: your units are all you have. Every action is decisive. In campaign mode, you can configure and upgrade your unit groups through a progression system based on development trees and experience to earn honors.

You will play missions with various objectives and rewards. Some secondary objectives will pose a significant challenge, requiring you to progress further to complete them. In skirmish and multiplayer modes, you can play with the various available factions on diverse game boards against computer-controlled or online opponents.

Capture fortresses to obtain upgrades. Use the terrain to improve your groups' stats and, above all, use strategy to keep your units safe. Combat between unit groups is based on direct attacks and counterattacks, occurring at range or in melee.

You must design your groups for each situation and use the formation system to improve your hit chance or decrease that of your opponent. The mechanics are simple. The most important factor is how and where you position your units before engaging in combat.
