When fed, the creature produces a strange byproduct, a substance that can be refined into fuel. Fuel we desperately need. If we can keep it fed, we might be able to generate enough to reach the radio tower.

And if the tower still works, it may be our only chance. The surface is swarming with mutated creatures—every step is a risk, every shadow a threat. In this world, surviving alone is hard.
