In their lifetimes, they will leave a lasting mark on the village by forming meaningful relationships, experiencing life-changing events, and contributing their unique skills. See their children grow and leave their own unique mark on the town. Build your Village Build out your town, fulfilling your town’s needs for shelter, food, and resources.

As your town grows, so will its desires. Decorate your town to enhance its appearance, and villagers may start to take notice as well. Watch Events Every so often, villagers will encounter events around the village.

These will pop up around the map and happen randomly, giving the villager a chance to experience a unique event. These events can be as small as finding a unique insect and as impactful as marriage. Connect with the Spirits Death is part of telling a generational story.

Everyone’s story eventually ends, and in Cataria, that is no different. Once a villager passes, their spirit will enter your town's spirit tree, which will grow with your town as more spirits pass away. This provides your villagers with a place to gather, remember their ancestors, and offer gifts to the afterlife.
